It’s not love I’m looking for
It’s acceptance and loving welcome from people
And the love of a good woman
I love women

But I’m the one who perceives my reality
I choose how to respond to people
I feel from what I believe to be
Negative and positive
Maybe I need to change what I believe and perceive
But being alive, I can’t help but be influenced by my environment
I can’t change my percepted reality or I’d be full out dreaming it
But I am already dreaming some of it

With mental fortitude
I can teach myself not to be influenced by what should not influence
Like some people
Let what matters influence most and what nots have none
You matter most to yourself
Others depend on their relation to you
Something you place weight on
