People either read too little or too much
Never just right
§
Stereotyping - reference to the process of producing printing plates from molds; plate matches preexisting form
Brain collecting information from outside world, becomes accustomed to patterns of perception
…brain makes connection more quickly than if you were seeing breed for first time
…brain categorizes new mental images (sensations) according to what it has already experienced previouslyImages (sensations of the world get filtered through a personal lens… both (two viewers) categorize same observation by different experiences (past)
Stereotypes lead to expectations of the world
We do not first see, and then define
We define first, and then see
Potential danger arises when the pictures in our head don’t match the world outside - when we jump to conclusions based on fitting a deficient amount of new perceptions to our stereotypes— Brain The Complete Mind
How we think and perceive everything is all based on our past experience, if we don’t acknowledge the ignorance of doing so and only see from our own personal lens, we’ll stereotype our future experiences in ignorance, especially when our brain hardens at maturity with increased difficulty of learning and introducing of new experiences
Learn by letting new sensations and experiences be seen as new perceptions and understanding instead of stereotyping it into a category of a past experience
Stop trying to relate to others through your life and lens
Instead try to look through their lens by understanding their experiences and perception of those experiences
Ignorance is to assume everyone perceives and experiences as you do
Ignorance is to attempt to relate to others as if they have the same views as you
Your perception of everything is dependent on the growth of your brain and environmental stimulus growing up; your past
Growth stops at maturity and your perception becomes stagnant
You see the world only by relating and stereotyping with your perception
Ignorance is to trust this perception wholly
Understand that your perception of life is based on a dependent past that isn’t even a percent of existence
Understand that you cannot categorize those experiences you have never past encountered by that stagnant perception
Instead learn and make dynamic your perception
