Forever Young

Never let go of your youth: keep it close, keep it tight. As we grow we slowly let it go; we think it’s how it’s supposed to be, we become grown and we stop. We believe our age means something, other than slowly losing the years we have left. We lose our youth because we believe we have finished growing up. We had goals and a destination when we were young, something to aim for and direct ourselves to. But once we’ve gotten there, we no longer care for going anymore. We’ve reached our destination, and now we’re staying here. For the rest of our remainder. Forever here.

And that’s fine if that’s what you want. But if it isn’t, then you must keep going; keep thriving. Figure out where you want to go next and go. Even when you have no clue where, what, or how. You need to keep on going: that’s how you stay forever young.
