Thinking is imagined action
Imagination comes from the same systems that synthesize, or decode, vision
Except the stimulus comes from inside and is secondary

Our primary is engrained as primary
So we don’t see the connection?
We feel like our eyes?
Imagination activates the same areas as when actually performing actions?
Except it is confined within the brain

The feedback loop of performing and refining action is carried out in imagination within the brain instead
The brain was born out of purpose for precision movement
The brain was made as a house to perform movements and actions
Eventually evolved emotions and from emotions the ability to imagine actions as thoughts

Emotions were a way to, without thought, control movement, or give more freedom than simple reflex action or entrained genetic reactions or entrained sensory reactions?
Maybe sensory reactions came first then emotional reactions and now thought reactions
Each bringing a new level of decision making for performing coordinated movements and action?

Thoughts involve imagining actions before performing, so to predict the feedback loop
Normal actions have a feedback loop which the brain tracks and uses to refine movements
Thoughts help cheat that feedback loop by providing responses and results without actually performing the action?
But those responses are only what can be imagined and may be faulty

I don’t know
Imagination possibly recreates what the visual cortex does with eyes
Like a second system
But recreating the sensual experience rather than reading it from outside

Now that I’m thinking about it, maybe imagination attempts to recreate as many sensory pathways as possible in order to help with the decision making of life; it allows us to predict and understand outcomes. If we can accurately imagine and predict outcomes of decisions, then we can certainly live better lives, right? It leads to better results of all situations, but it of course requires accurate readings and accurate understandings.
