Do they question its authenticity, believe they’re feeling what they’re not supposed to?
If someone lives through trauma, yet everyone around them behaves as if they haven’t, what’s the outcome?
What if it’s a child we’re talking about?
Who’s still learning about the world
They don’t grieve when they’re supposed to
Taught that their feelings are wrong
That what they feel is wrong
Imagine the consequences such would have on their growing psyche
Creating a broken core raising a broken person
