Not Too High
Don’t fall for the trap of thinking too highly of yourself. It makes you avoid those you believe beneath you; which can sometimes be good for you, but also not.
One mistake some high-achievers make is getting used to being good at everything. When you’re good at everything, proud of the fact that you are, which most are, given it is earned and sometimes quite talented, you begin to expect that of everything you do. You expect excellence from yourself. Which is awesome. Except when you’re not so good.
It’s normal to suck at things when you’re starting off. It’s absolutely normal to be a beginner. But we don’t like to see ourselves there, and we don’t want to be seen by anyone there. Because it’s ripe for picking in a competitive environment. You got to just not care, but still. Ignore that.
It’s okay to make mistakes as well. You’re not perfect, and never will be. Everything is a work in progress, and your understanding of it directs it. You can always be better at whatever you wish. Don’t be afraid of being a beginner, or to struggle. If you’re struggling, it’s because you need to be better, so instead, be better. Don’t avoid or refuse it.
