What we most condemn in others is some unadmitted part of ourselves

Anthony Storr

Might as well learn the game you’re forced to play

That’s why we love sleeping in
Because of that warmth
A battle to leave
But at the end of the day it’s comfort
So I can’t

It all has to do with living in the moment
Experiencing the now
Without any reference of past nor future
Without any expectations or constructs
Feeling every moment flow into and within you
Deeply breathing it all in

Flow harmoniously with yourself, trust your instincts and feelings
Don’t reject what you think you shouldn’t be
Accept and understand yourself as who you are
Not who you think you are

Be free and do not constrain your experiences
Do what you collectively feel like doing
Love and be free
My sweet summer child
I loves you

§

You don’t have to be anything
But enough, enough to you
But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t chase after and achieve what you want to
I damn well will do what the fuck I want to

§

Learning can often be a slow and difficult process
Don’t knock the struggle
And most of all
Don’t be blind to the progress
You’re without a doubt getting better by the day
It’s all a process
No way your abilities are fixated
They can, and will, always grow and broaden

It’s crazy how I think I won’t see better
But every day it’s all I do

That’s what causes problems

While growing up we’re forced into masks and facades, to hide ourselves behind
And we without a doubt believe this is how and who we are to be
Who we should be, as if life commands it to be the most suitable
If we were otherwise our being would be erroneous and wrong

Of course based on the experience we faced
Without realizing that experience isn’t all
But to us it is
We’re literally shaped into a person by what we face
If those experiences naturally don’t grow your truth, they instead grow a hidden you
It’s not all constant, some grow you others hide you; the totalled ratio of them holds the strength of your mask
All of our problems arise from the differences of who we truly are and the person who we play to be
The further away we stand, the greater the distance between us and the reality we play, the greater the painful discomfort
We need to come front and live our experiences instead of shielding them with away who we are not
Don’t let your experiences deny you into a pathetic facade who matches said ratio of experiences

Live your experience to the fullest
Not letting it define you
But instead raise you
Into more of you
Not less

Because once you accept yourself as defined by experiences, you begin looking at future experiences based on the mold of those previous
Like you’ve been trained on what to expect, what to perceive
And you look at the present and future to be the same as the past
Instead of experiencing the experience wholly, you deny it fully and replace it with a similar past
And by doing so you make the present feel like the past, even if it isn’t but by ways of self delusion it is; you are the master of your own perception; the way you see things will always be the way you wish to see them; truly or falsely

But if you begin to realize the training of the ratios and ignore the forced upon molds, and instead let every experience independently, without a relation, exclusively define you, then you’re golden
Because you still need experiences to define you, it’s the only way we know of ourselves, by reflective experience within our surroundings

But it is when we let past experiences define us more heavily and wholly than present and the possible future that we break ourselves
Sure the past has value, but only to learn from and grow from
As goes for all experiences
Experience it, and then live the fuck on
Don’t devalue a present or future experience because of how a cousin experience felt in the past
Experience and experience to the fullest capable of you
And then welcome the next one with open arms, without ever looking back

§

Life makes you believe, “This is how I should be, to fit in and live”
And depending on the life you experience, it’s either a branch near you, or one far away and twisted
The pain and discomfort you feel is a sibling of the distance
It’s up to you to realize there’s no need to travel so far
All you need is right here
Within you
Plant your own tree with branches flowing all over

§

Become who you are
That’s where true freedom lives

§

As we grow we become this person who we believe we should be
Based on life’s experiences and any other impactful force
How distant this person is from ourselves is how painful and discomforting we feel life to be
Drop this person and replace them with you in all your soulful beauty
Most probably don’t even know they have a real self within

§

Instead of distorting our experiences to fit the picture we have, let our experiences paint the picture

§

It’s living how you are
Instead of how you, through others perception, believe you should be
Be who you are
Open to experience
Acceptance of intuition and feelings
Acknowledging they can be wrong yet still satisfactory to follow
Know all judgements and decisions ultimately live within
Only you have the final say on what should dictate your life
The value anything has
The locus of evaluation should be no where but within
That you are a process of growing, flowing down a stream of random experiences that is life
Never build a mold of expectations based on past experiences and distort the future in order to fit that mold
Love each experience as it’s own
Conjoin with your animalistic subconscious and body
You are the consciousness of not only the ego, but also of the animal with instincts, feelings, and heart
Accept all as is
Rejection has no power to change it

Like a miscarriage, never to grow

§

…he can be his experience, with all of its variety and surface contradiction; that he can formulate himself out of his experience, instead of trying to impose a formulation of self upon his experience, denying to awareness those elements which do not fit

Carl R. Rogers, On Becoming a Person

It’s all about being true to yourself and those around you
About being who you feel, not an abstraction hiding the flow of life; a facade, a mask
Be real and honest of how you feel, and have the wisdom to not see it as weakness, but instead as strength, pushing you along a wondrous life
Rejecting any part of you and your experience is what welcomes pain
Acceptance of all, even without fully understanding why, is the key to happiness and pure joy

Of course it goes without saying, happiness does not mean a life rid of sorrow, only one of peace and content; acceptance
You will still move through the waves of emotion but instead chose to welcome it
Because without it you would not be truly living
Rejection of self and all brings pain
The opposite brings peace and love; happiness

Neuroticism is the imagination built from the lacking of a rudimentary instict to help naturally guide us through an environment
The natural, or conscious, response to a situation is weak or lacking, so we fall back a level to our subconscious (since the conscious spawned from the subconscious, assume as so) to determine a fitting behaviour
The subconscious, lacking knowledge and experience, from help of natural instincts and emotions, attempts to throw out a suitable behaviour
That which is seen as neuroticism

A solution which becomes comfortably thrown out whenever the conscious reaches a similarly felt situation
Eventually woven into our characters
The subconscious doesn’t know that it’s neurotic?
Only that the situation has passed and that behaviour happened to be there
When in reality only time had an affect

The Undiscovered Self — C.G. Jung

§

To love yourself is to love your unconscious
Because he has grown in a world without love
Instinctively believes in a world without love
So now show him how wrong he is

§

We are not our entirety
Their resides within us a natural instinctual life, which has a very real effect on our being
We’re just the creme on top
How the cake is baked very well matters

You have no one
Remember that
Don’t expect anyone to be there
Or help
You gotta do it on your own
Or you’ll be forever alone

The past only affects my reactions
Not what’s to come
Fix your reactions
Your perception
